Kylie Norton // Designer + Art director

My name is Kylie Norton, I am an experienced graphic designer based in Mildura in regional Victoria. With 18 years industry experience spread between Melbourne, London and Regional Victoria, I have a wealth of knowledge on branding and communication design.

Since the start of my career I have provided branding, print and packaging services. I have a deep passion for all things design and pride myself in producing quality work for my clients.

I graduated from RMIT in 2004, since then I have worked with amazing clients both big and small, I returned to Mildura in 2012 and started KND in 2018. When I’m not working I love to spend time with my husband and two boys exploring the region we live in.

Bec Grayling // Graphic designer

Hi, I’m Bec. With over 8 years of design experience, including expertise in publication and print design, I take great pride in creating visually stunning communications that look beautiful and function effectively for their purpose.

I have a strong focus on attention to detail and a keen interest in new technologies and innovations within the design industry. My passion is design and colour theory - understanding how different combinations of imagery and colour can be combined to evoke emotion, communicate ideas and tell a story.

Growing up in rural SA, I always had a passion for creativity and design. After studying in Adelaide, I moved to Bundaberg QLD and before settling down in Mildura with my husband. As a mum of two kids under 5, I’m a skilled multi-tasker with a wide range of skills that I enjoy bringing to the table at KND.

  • This depends on the scope of the work involved to create the project. After an initial meeting we provide an indication of timeframes which we formalise prior to starting the project.

    As a guide, we like to allow between 4-6 weeks for any branding projects, however this does depend on our workload at the time.

    Smaller projects can often be turned around quite quickly.

  • Yes both Kylie and Bec have completed tertiary education to be designers.

    Kylie studied at RMIT whilst Bec studied at the University of South Australia.

  • Kylie has over 18 years industry experience working in Melbourne, Sydney, London and Mildura.

    Bec has over 8 years industry experience across Australia.

  • Kylie grew up in Mildura before moving to Melbourne in 2002. After living there for 6 years she had a short stint living in Sydney before moving to London and travelling and working for 2 years. After that she then returned home to Mildura.

    Bec grew up in Bordertown SA, before moving to Adelaide to study in 2012. After competing her degree in 2014 she lived in Bundaberg for a year before moving to Mildura.

    As Mildura locals we understand the market in our region. We know how to create designs that not only captivate but are unique, design solutions that make our clients stand out.

  • Unfortunately currently we don’t offer work experience as our studio is quite small and we are fast paced.

    However we are happy to meet up and coming designers and can arrange a short one on one walkthrough our studio or phone conversation if the opportunity arises - pending availability.
